Focus of the Role

Coding in color strives to create a safe space for minorities in the technology world to promote representation in our communities. We also advocate for equitable access to job and career opportunities through educational workshops, forming connections with professionals in the field, and networking events.

Tasks

The Coding in Color Director will:

• Organize meetings (larger events or small groups is up to the discretion of the Director) for minorities in Computer Science.
• Monitor the work of other officers in CIC(Pr, Media, VP, Secretary).
• Work with the ACM Membership Officer to coordinate outreach to members and campus entities in order to foster this community.
